The art of salary negotiation is a priceless skill in today’s economy, and can be used at your current or future career opportunities. Knowing how to properly negotiate your salary isn’t about “winning” or “losing”—it’s about setting yourself up for the future you deserve. Regardless of how many years of experience you have, if you’re ready for a change in salary, then our Salary Negotiations Workshop is for you! This great workshop will be presented by Shannon Deamer, Careers In Nonprofits’ Managing Director.

 

In our Salary Negotiations Workshop, you will:

Presenter Bio:

shannon dreamer

Shannon Deamer is the Managing Director of the Atlanta and Chicago branches of Careers In Nonprofits. She has over seven years of experience in nonprofit staffing and recruitment, specializing in executive placements. She is a vibrant and strategic professional who believes strongly in following your dreams and doing what you love, a belief she carries into her work at CNP. Shannon uses her experience in securing successful direct hire placements at record paces to guide both nonprofit professionals and job seekers in their respective career aspirations. Additionally, her organizational development and psychology experience provide an extra layer to her deep understanding of the needs of nonprofit leaders and job seekers.

 

Shannon is also a dynamic presenter and speaker for Careers In Nonprofits’ “CNP Academy.” Shannon has led sessions on various topics including the Nonprofit Sector, Generational Differences in the Nonprofit Sector, and Salary Negotiations.

 

She holds both her BS in Psychology and BA in Sociology from University of New Orleans, in addition to an MA in Industrial/Organization Psychology from Louisiana Tech University. Most recently, Shannon completed her coursework toward a Doctorate in Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and is ABD status. Shannon is also a Certified Staffing Professional as well as a Certified Search Consultant with the American Staffing Association.
